Who will be our lead photographer and videographer?
We are Simar Brar-Parks and Adam Parks, the husband-and-wife duo behind Black Jacket Films. As the lead creatives, we will personally attend and capture your special day, ensuring every moment is beautifully documented.​
How much is the deposit to save our wedding date with you?
To secure your wedding date, we typically require a deposit of 50% of the total package cost. However, we’re happy to discuss your specific needs to make it work for you.
What are your minimum charges?
Our photography-only packages start at $3,500 CAD, while our combined photography and videography packages
start at $6,500 CAD.
Where are you based, and do you travel for weddings?
We’re based in Ontario, Canada, but we love travelling to capture love stories! We’ve been fortunate to document weddings in stunning locations like India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and beyond. Wherever you are, we’re happy to follow.
Do you shoot destination weddings?
Absolutely! If you love our artistic style, we’ll cross oceans, mountains, or any distance to be part of your celebration.
Do you photograph and film elopement weddings?
Elopements are incredibly intimate, and we’d be honoured to document yours. If you prefer to keep it a secret, your story is safe with us. We also offer special elopement packages for a limited time—email us at info@blackjacketfilms.com

Can you accommodate larger events with more than one photographer and videographer?
Yes! While Simar and Adam lead your creative team, we also work with highly trained and vetted associates for larger events, ensuring complete and seamless coverage of your day.
What is your turnaround time for photos and wedding films?
Sneak Peeks: Delivered within 14 business days via a Pixieset online gallery.
Wedding Trailer: Sent alongside sneak peeks through a Google Drive link.
Full Album & Wedding Films: Delivered within two months of your wedding day.
Physical Prints: Shipped to your home address approximately two months after your wedding.
